The Hay O' Trail is a 6km multi terrain race. Runners leave the grounds of Cockermouth School, heading away from Cockermouth along a footpath adjacent to the road (Castlegate Drive). They then enter a field and onto the footpath that follows the Allerdale Ramble route which heads up Watch Hill to a designated turn point on the Hay. This is an out and back race, so there is then a lovely run back down the Hay! Register online to avoid disappointment.
