Cumbria Tourism Awards 2018

The finalists for the Cumbria Tourism Awards 2018 have now be revealed, following a flurry of entries from across Cumbria. With a total of 18 awards on offer, brand new categories for 2018 include Culture & Heritage Experience of the Year and Adventure Experience of the Year. The finalists have all been chosen by an independent panel of tourism experts.

This year’s awards ceremony will be hosted at Cartmel Racecourse, on Wednesday 20 June. The event will be hosted by Alan ‘Deadly’ Dedicoat – best-known as the National Lottery’s infamous ‘Voice of the Balls’ – with catering on the night provided by The Ilex at Holker.

The different award categories demonstrate the high standards of excellence and quality offered across Cumbria's diverse tourism industry. Potential winners have to demonstrate excellence and innovation throughout their business including their product, welcoming experience, customer service, marketing and sustainable practices.
