AA 2 Rosettes

Rosettes are awarded annually to AA inspected restaurants for the quality of their food. Most star-rated hotels have their own restaurants and we also inspect these. Not all restaurants receive an AA award, but will generally serve enjoyable food of a reasonable standard.

Green Tourism Gold Award

A Green Tourism award shows that a business has been independently assessed and certified, so you can choose the greenest option with confidence. Businesses which meet Green Tourism standards receive a Bronze, Silver, or Gold award based on their level of sustainability. Accredited in Meetings (AIM) is the accreditation scheme for the meetings industry fully endorsed in England by VisitBritain. It is designed to improve standards in business tourism and help meetings organisers find the very best of venues, suppliers and services, whether planning a meeting for 6 or a conference space for over 1000. AIM Cumbria is the result of Cumbria Tourism being the first official licensed partner to the Meetings Industry Association for AIM.
