Details

A museum/exhibition based on over 6,000 toy soldiers and related forts, guns etc. Battlefield models, Hadrian's Wall feature, historical information. Group talks on history of toys, military history. The exhibition includes approx. 5,500 figures laid out by theme e.g. nationality, historical period, manufacturer, modelling material. Large (40-60 sq ft) Battlefield layouts, local history etc. Activity sheets for young visitors.

We rely on volunteers to open the museum so visitors making a special visit are advised to call to confirm first. Please see contact details below.

Saturday/Sunday opening times 11am to 4pm throughout.
Weekdays 1pm to 4pm throughout.
