The facilities available at the venue or site of the activity vary. All activities need to be pre-booked to ensure there is a suitably qualified instructor for you so full instructions including directions to a meeting point, what to expect from the activity and the venue and what to wear, are sent to you in advance. Some venues have free parking and toilets others you will need to use pay and display car parks, some have free parking for National Trust members, others are local authority. Some venues have toilets others the arrangements are 'rural'. Most locations for adventure activities have very limited disabled access/facilities due to the nature of the activities. We will be very happy to advise on what is possible and/or advisable for anyone with special needs, but it will usually require a conversation between the instructor and the client before booking/arrival to ensure we can do our best to deliver something to meets expectations.

We use a number of venues around the Lake District to allow for the nature of different activities. (NB no activities take place at the admin office address). The locations for climbing, caving, canoeing, ghyll scrambling and mountaineering are dictated by the needs of the activity. Other activities like shooting, quad biking and bushcraft need specialist areas away from public areas/footpaths.
