Annis will arrive with everything you need to create and learn to carefully needlefelt the soft blended wool mix.
Make a lovely Hare of sitting height is approx 34 cm plus the ears. You can decide your own pose, either with ears up, or "moon gazing" with the ears back. We will be using natural brown wools, all materials and tools are provided.
To create such an impressively detailed and large Hare in just one day is quite a task! A lot of carefully prepared and detailed instructions are shared and demonstrated to the whole group in stages by Annis. Therefore iIt is sadly not possible to accommodate people needing to leave early or for a deadline as the class is methodically taught as a whole group, step by step. Please do bear this in mind if you have other engagements that evening or a lift organised - you may be late! .
A full day workshop running 9.30 am to 5.45pm or perhaps later. learning new methods which will inspire you to make more felted creations in future! Annis is a highly accomplished needle felter and her work is for sale in local galleries in Cumbria and beyond. She also sells needle-felt kits online.
