There is a selection of options available, from rooms in the castle for that added elegance to our function room with a bar, suitable for larger parties and exhibitions.

We also have two rooms available for smaller groups. We have onsite accommodation and catering facilities which can be tailored to your requirements. Whether for a small or large conference, meeting or event, Muncaster Castle, set on the beautiful Lake District coast, provides the ideal location. Utilising the Castle or any of the meeting rooms or marquee, we can cater from 2 to 100 delegates, or even up to 200 in exceptional circumstances.

Located within the gardens of Muncaster this room offers a selection of layouts and can cater for up to 100 people. This room has a bar and catering facilities are adjacent. The Education room for small to medium group of up to 30. This room links to the next door dining room for the Coachman’s Quarters which is of a similar size (slightly smaller) and with kitchen next door to that, this suite of 3 rooms makes a very suitable base for small seminars, workshops, training courses, board meetings and similar as well as providing excellent “breakout” rooms for larger conferences and meetings.
