Holiday Guide Photo Competition 2018
Holiday Guide Photo Competition 2018

holiday guide 2019 photo competition

THE PRIZE...

The Lake District has been basking in weeks of glorious sunshine throughout the summer of 2018, a season which has proved to be picture-perfect for capturing digital memories of your holiday at the UK’s newest World Heritage site.

Now, it’s that time of year again, with the team at Go Lakes offering happy-snappers the chance to have their most memorable moment featured as the front cover of the 2019 Lake District Holiday guide.

If you’ve taken a photograph you want to share with the world, send it over to us with details of why for you it's #theplacetobe. If you win, we'll print your story online and in 150,000 printed copies of the guide.

It’s no easy task for the judges though. In previous years the standard of entries has been so high we’ve had to burn the midnight oil to come to a final decision. This year, we expect the task ahead to be no different.

With beautiful shots of Buttermere, Honister Pass and Derwentwater winning the contest over the last four years, the bar has been set very high. So, if you think your photo has what it takes, send it over to us by 11:59pm on Thursday 30th August 2018. Good Luck!
