Pebbles the miniture Dachshund

Becky Whitwell - Pebbles The Miniature Dachshund

Pebbles absolutely loves exploring the Lakes then stopping off for food on her way home! She's currently on a mission to complete all 214 wainwright walks. She's in her element when up in the hills & feels privileged to live in the Lakes.

Dexter the Beagle

Chris Connor - Dexter The Beagle

My name is Dexter Beagle, also known as @rescuedogdexter, I live in Chesham Buckinghamshire, I am told I am around 7 years old (rescue dog so they aren't sure). The image was taken in Wastwater on 4th May 2017. I love Combria as everyone and everywhere is so friendly to me and fellow dogs. Its beautiful. #theplacetobe

Frankie the Border Collie

Jacqui Simpson - Frankie The Border Collie

We love the lakes and that it is so dog friendly our old blind dog, Frankie, could come with us and potter down to the pub for dinner and back to our cottage not far away.

Scout the English Shepherd

Katie Ryan - Scout The English Shepherd

We have visited the Lake District many times, but each time we came we were aware of how much better it would be with a dog. Now that we have finally been able to get our own dog Scout, an English Shepherd, our visits to the Lakes have become so much more fulfilling. There are fantastic walks around every corner, and after a busy day it's so nice to relax in one of the huge number of dog-friendly pubs or cafes; us with a drink, Scout with a dog biscuit! There really is nowhere better to be a dog than in the Lakes.

Marley the Springer

Phil Houghton - Marley The Springer

We love coming to to Cumbria as it is THE best place for walks with dog friendly pubs. You always end up talking to people you otherwise wouldn’t have unless you have a dog with you.
