Mother's day at Muncaster castle

Mother's day at Muncaster castle

Mother's day ultimate special day out at Muncaster Castle

Details

Crafts and Afternoon Tea… at a Castle! The ultimate special day out for Mother’s Day!

The historic castle of Muncaster, still a lived-in family home is the jewel in the majestic setting of the Western Lake District.

Your day will begin with a relaxed paper flower making workshop in the Old Dairy which is situated in the Muncaster Castle grounds overlooking the castle and The Lake District fells.

You will have the chance to experiment with different methods of paper flower making from small and detailed designs to large and vibrant ones and leave with some everlasting flowers to treasure.

You will then have time to explore the Muncaster castle grounds, tour the castle’s public rooms, and perhaps even take in a bird of prey flying display at Muncaster’s Hawk and Owl Centre before sitting down to a truly elegant and delicious Afternoon Tea in either the Castle Drawing Room or the Billiard Room. Both these elegant rooms with their ornate plaster ceilings overlook the Castle lawns.

The perfect special day out to treat your Mam this Mother’s Day!
