“Excellent - Just what we wanted!”

An ideal place for getting away from it all, but with the comforts of home thrown in. A great choice.

    Details

Ringhouse self-catering cottages are open all year, and set in the beautiful unspoilt Woodland Valley close to both Coniston and Broughton-in-Furness.

The cottages retain an unrivalled atmosphere of calm and peace in a rural setting and yet are within easy driving distance of the popular tourist centres. Ringhouse is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday or short break. Woodland consists of a broad valley of woods, meadows and scattered dwellings. There are many beautiful walks to be taken right from the cottage door. Broughton-in-Furness offers a grocery and butchers shop, a bakery, post office, garage, Tourist Information Centre, several traditional pubs, cafes and a restaurant.

Ringhouse Cottages created from an 18thC Lakeland farm. Surrounded by garden and meadowland, the cottages can sleep from 2 to 4 people. All are centrally heated. The owners live on site. Cottages can be rented for a week or more starting on any day of the week. Additionally short breaks from two nights are available all the year round. The price is inclusive of bed linen, towels, electricity, central heating, use of the laundry and Wireless Internet. The kitchens are fully equipped. In fact all you need to bring to Ringhouse for your holiday is your food and drink. There is lots to do in the area and in each cottage is a book with local walks entitled 'Walks From our Backdoor'. The resident proprietors are on hand if you need any help during your stay.
