A charming Grade I listed hideaway with a stunning Barn, a newly refurbished Medieval Hall, an outdoor Pavilion, 18 luxurious bedrooms, a spa and a restaurant. All set amid beautiful gardens, offering menus with ingredients straight off the Lowther family estate. Licensed for civil ceremonies, and with two churches nearby. Our animal viewing area and secret wooded garden trails makes it great for kids. Please note that the restaurant is open in the evening and not all of the facilities are available there, some are only applicable to the cafe.

Directions

Just three miles from junction 40 of the M6 and Penrith in Askham village - turn off the A6 (just after you cross over the motorway) towards Askham passing the front of Lowther Castle and after the cattle grid Lowther Church will be on your right. Continue over the bridge and Askham Hall restaurant entrance is the first on your right signposted 'Private'.
