Hands on Strip and Build Bike Day

Hands on Strip and Build Bike Day

Strip and Build a Bike Day near Ullswater at Greystoke cycle Cafe Tea Garden near Penrith.

Students should already be able to happily remove and replace the rear wheel of their bike and change an inner tube.

Covering Gears, Brakes, Chains,Cable Replacement, Headsets,Bottom Brackets,Wheels and Hubs - it will be similar to you giving your bike a basic service - and so will save your time and money. In the future you will be able to mend or tweak slipping gears and worn brakes, mend chains among many other things. It doesn't guarantee ruling out a trip to the bike shop but will certainly help reduce bills!

Please note: It is not possible to work on bikes with Campagnolo groupsets as the tools required are quite different.
