Innovative future of conferencing and training

A brand new, two-level conference and learning centre is coming to West Cumbria’s Whitehaven harbour side this summer. The Beacon Museum is developing a £1 million facility will provide exciting opportunities for high quality event hosting, with curved glass walls allowing panoramic views across the coast. But more excitingly, the team at the Beacon Museum are currently developing future possibilities to incorporate a virtual reality resource that will make this conference and learning centre a unique proposition for both businesses and schools.

In 2017, English Lakes Resorts unveiled a brand-new extension to the Low Wood Bay Hotel. One of the most iconic hotels is the Lake District, Low Wood Bay has undergone major reconstruction and refurbishment. Visitors will see the complete refurbishment of the existing hotel, including their 9 private meeting rooms, of which the largest can host up to 340 people. The resort also boasts 111 bedrooms, two restaurants and an on-site water sports centre, perfect for delegate entertainment.

Cumbria also has three rail stations along the West Coast Mainline which can be reached within 3 hours from London Euston, and 2 hours from Manchester.
