We all deserve a spot of luxury

Life would be so dull if we all liked the same type of holiday.

Thankfully there are so many different ways to enjoy the Lake District, Cumbria, that every need is catered for. Some embrace the wild outdoors and enjoy the freedom of living under canvass. Others prefer a home from home and spend a fortnight in a caravan with their own kettle. All make for wonderful holidays but sometimes you just need to treat yourself and indulge in a spot of luxury.

What can be better than a 4 Star break in a gorgeous location?
We’ve found two beautiful areas that offer relaxing stays in blissful comfort.

Grange-over-Sands

Grange is an Edwardian seaside resort that has lost none of the era’s charm. The promenade is planted with pristine and colourful blooms and the ornamental gardens are home to a large collection of wildfowl from around the world.

The town is a mixture of alluring independent shops, elegant tea rooms and fine restaurants. The promenade gives an unrivalled panoramic view of Morecambe Bay from Barrow on one side to Arnside and Morecambe on the other.

The Furness railway route hugs the Cumbrian coast and serves the town at an immaculate station, reminiscent of a bygone age. Train visitors are greeted by hanging baskets, flowerpots and an ornate wrought-iron canopy.
