“Very nice all staff really pleasant and helpful.”

The property is in an excellent location , but needs to be refurbished throughout it could be stunning. I understand you may be selling so this could be a reason for not doing this but if refurbished you could get better return on investment. I worked in the Hotel industry for 14 years at some of the top London Hotels so know what I could do with the property if I were fortunate enough to be able to purchase it. We will stay again as it is so nice and we have always been made very welcome. We love that you allow dogs most of all, next time we stay we will have a new one.

    Details

A charming Victorian house, carefully converted and quietly tucked away in own wooded grounds in central Ambleside. Formerly used as the vicarage for the parish of St Mary's, it overlooks Rothay Park and is tucked away from traffic noise. There is ample free car parking within the grounds. Ideal base for exploring the surrounding fells or boating on lovely lakes. Fishing, riding, golfing and sailing are just a few of the facilities available nearby. There is a spacious and comfortable lounge available for guests' use and a small snooker table. We have our own heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, sun lounge and roof top terrace.
