Inbetween Lorton and Braithwaite, there is a car park at Scagill Bridge on the Whinlatter Pass Road. From here the falls are a 15 minutes walk.

Three circles and nine small cairns. The south circle is 104' across, the north-west is 72' with a low central cairn. The third is immediately north of the second, it is 24' across and also encloses a small cairn.



Eskdale is an inspiring Lake District valley of mountain, crags, river and forest with England's highest mountain - Scafell Pike at its head. Famous for the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, transporting passengers from the valley to the sea.
