Following last year’s successful return of Gilbert & Sullivan to the Carnegie Theatre in Workington after almost 25 years,award winning Workington Amateur Operatic Society (WAOS) for one night only are delighted to host again their highly acclaimed concert at Rosehill in celebration of Savoy Opera. Featuring pieces from the musically brilliant, emotionally engaging and hilariously witty Yeomen of the Guard and The Mikado. Expect exceptionally talented singers, and a beautifully scored evening of music with everything you would expect from Gilbert & Sullivan performed as it’s meant to be-uncomplicated fun!!

Rosehill Theatre and Cinema are one mile north of Whitehaven. From the main A595, take the turning at the brown tourist sign marked Rosehill Theatre. The theatre is situated about half a mile on the left hand side and is clearly signposted.
