Time to Get Up!

Time to Get Up!

Brand new early years exhibition brought to you in collaboration with Seven Stories. The first few years of a child’s life are full of new experiences. This exhibition helps to grow confidence and creativity using storytelling and colour.

Details

An interactive exhibition for younger children that uses storybooks to bring a child’s ever-changing routine to life in a fun and exciting way.

From getting up to going to bed, those daily occurrences that we so often take for granted are magnified and colourised in a unique way, with lots of buttons to press, props to use and costumes to wear.

Confidence, creativity and social and motor skills all get helped along by the large and engaging interactives.

The exhibition is a creation of Seven Stories, a nationally renowned centre for childhood learning and promotion of reading.

What’s in It?

A series of colour-coded zones highlight each stage of a young person’s day. Audio, visual and sensory interactives accompany feature frames containing original artwork and sketches from their favourite storybooks by authors such as Lauren Child, Julia Donaldson and many many more!

Reading, drawing and constructive play areas are dotted around the exhibition, which is fully designed with little feet and little hands in mind.
