Going Going

Going Going

by Judith Bromley, Quaker Arts Network

Jon C Lovett, Chair of Global Challenges at Leeds University will talk for about 40 minutes, followed by questions and conversation, in the conference room. He will explore how the three dimensions of sustainability - economic, environmental and social - interact with the definition of sustainable development provided in the Brundtlandt Report. These provide both synergies and tensions and Jon will place them in the context of John Rawl's 'Theory of Justice'. This event is part of 'Seeking Routes', Swarthmoor Hall's summer Art Exhibition organised in collaboration with Quaker Arts Network.
