A selection of cars at last year's FHBVC Drive It

A number of private vehicles called into the museum on last year's FHBVC Drive it Day.

Everyone is Welcome!

Many classic vehicle enthusiasts take to the road each April to celebrate the British Historic Vehicle Club (BHVC) Drive-it Day, and this year, everyone's invited back to the museum. Whether you're starting out on a classic Lakeland tour or returning home from a Cumbrian car adventure, pop in to see us at the museum and show off your pride and joy.

There's plenty of free parking at the museum and with the scenic riverside Cafe Ambio open all day, it's a great place to take a break on Drive It Day.

No classic? No problem?
Why not just pop along to see all the classics on display in the grounds of the museum. They'll be coming and going all day!
