    In a magnificent mountain setting at the southern tip of Ullswater in the English lake District, Patterdale Hall Estate is ideally situated for holidays and outdoor activities. Its spacious wooded grounds reach from the shores of the lake to the lower slopes of the Helvellyn range. 11 self-catering properties of various prices and sizes to suit most tastes and pockets

    We have pine lodges have been constructed to a high standard to provide comfortable accommodation all year round for up to six people. The lodges are situated on a sheltered site with ample space for children to play and for your own barbecue.

    Our 6 newly refurbished Chalets have been purpose built to provide comfortable family holiday accommodation. Each chalet accommodates up to four people and they are found on a sheltered site and again with ample space for children to play and for your own barbecue.

    Also we have our newly refurbished converted Bothies are ideal for two to three people, with a double bed upstairs and a sofa bed dowstairs. Cosy and well appointed, they share their own fantastic private walled garden with picnic tables and room for your own barbeques.

    For those who seek water-based activities, there are ample opportunities on Ullswater for sailing, angling, canoeing, wind-surfing, or just a cruise on a lake ‘steamer’.

Rail station at Penrith, bus no. 108 from rail or bus station stops outside estate office.
