Art Exhibition, Sun 11 Mar - Sun 8 Apr 2018, £4.50

In the Howgill Gallery two local artists, based in the North of England, will be showing their paintings, inspired by the wild landscape of Scotland. Gina Tawn is a printmaker and painter, Walking is a strong feature in Gina’s practice as it is the first steps to gathering ideas and thoughts in sketches.

Penny Hunt thrives on working outside in the landscape and especially loves to paint on the coast, capturing the changing moods of the sea. Here, she becomes totally immersed.
