For couples wanting a distinctly different place to say ‘I do’, Askham Hall will be giving an exclusive preview of the unique and atmospheric spaces it offers for weddings, catering from just the happy couple to anywhere up to 320 guests:

From Askham’s huge Medieval Hall and the 14th century Old Chapel, to the grade II listed Bank Barn and its open-air Wedding Pavilion and Gypsy Caravan, couples will be able to see the full set of venues, meet staff, talk to wedding suppliers and explore menu ideas at one of the Lake District’s rare Michelin-starred establishments.

Just three miles from junction 40 of the M6 and Penrith in Askham village - turn off the A6 (just after you cross over the motorway) towards Askham passing the front of Lowther Castle and after the cattle grid Lowther Church will be on your right. Continue over the bridge and Askham Hall restaurant entrance is the first on your right signposted 'Private'.
