    “A fabulous relaxing break for two”

    The main living areas were clean. Di that met us was very friendly. Location was brilliant and the actual cottage had everything we needed. The log burning stove was great.

    Luxury Eden Valley studio cottage, central for Lakes, Pennines, Dales and Hadrian's Wall. Newly converted old single storey stone farmhouse with enormous picture window giving panoramic view of Cross Fell, the highest Pennine. Large private dining and barbecue terrace, and access to field. Comfortable twin sofas and armchair round wood-burning stove plus oil fired central heating, oak beams and new local oak floor. Double 'hideaway' bed. Antique furniture and original art with adjustable lighting. Modern fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath. A 32" flat-screen TV with Freeview channels, hi fi with remote speakers and DAB radio, wi-fi enabled, limited mobile reception. Utility room with washing machine, separate tumble dryer, ironing and drying facilities. Lock up cycle store.

    The Bower House is on one floor with level access. At the same time it is a romantic and discreet hideaway cottage. Off road private parking in cobbled yard. Short walk to centre of Morland village with 7 day Mill Yard Cafe, open for dinner at weekends, and Crown Inn pub. Guests may also explore four acre Morland House garden and Travelling2 travel clothing and accessories shop.

    Eden Valley is great cycling area with network of quiet roads. Nearest lake, Ullswater, is 10 miles, 20 minutes, while Keswick, Kendal and Carlisle are 35 minutes.

Take second left to Morland, 6 miles. Turn right in Cliburn to Morland, 2 miles. In Morland turn first right and Greengill is last house in village on right. Nearest public transport is Penrith station 8 miles.
