Glass Fusing and jewellery with Marilyn Hale

Glass Fusing and jewellery with Marilyn Hale

You can make , wall plaques, coasters, jewellery or even Christmas decorations regardless of the time of year!

A very busy and enjoyable day led by Marilyn Hale making Xmas decorations, jewellery, coasters, wall hangers, light reflectors amongst others.

Marilyn will tell you all about fused glass before you start - the safe and most successful ways to cut, and what can be done with glass in a kiln in terms of fusing, stacking, tack fusing and slumping.

Once you have been shown what is possible Marion will let you loose for the rest of that day to make what you can under her guidance. You will be able to make jewellery, coasters, candle holders and plaques – as in the pictures.

Obviously if you wish to make some Xmas Decorations (below) in spring or summer then that’s fine too!

Additional charges are £15 per student and this includes the glass you use and the firing fee back at Marilyn's studio plus re delivery of the glass back to the Cycle Cafe.

If you wish to have your pieces posted to you Marilyn there will be an extra charge.

Certain glass pieces and jewellery hangers, extra dichroics as well as any additional sheets of glass you may wish to use will be charged extra at cost

Each student will have enough glass to make around 12-15 different items (obviously depending on the sizes).
