    “Excellent accommodation and charming hosts”

We have stayed at this bed and breakfast several times and is a first choice option whenever we visit this area to catch up with family and friends, this is about every other month throughout the year.
When first choosing bed and breakfast venues in the area, and when Bankhouse has been fully booked we have opted for other accommodation in the area. Needless to say none of the other venues come close to Bankhouse for comfort, cleanliness, comfort and quality of rooms, beds, bed and bathroom facilities and hosts Dean and Sara for their delightful nature.
Sara in particular is very helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable about all local facilities, places of interest and upcoming local events.

A beautiful period house with a large terraced garden giving fabulous views to the Lakeland fells. Stunning dining room with amazing views, and a beautiful sitting room for guests and outside bike storage and plenty of parking.

A special place to stay with a warm and friendly atmosphere and a special emphasis on local quality food with home- made bread, freshly ground coffee. On arrival there is usually home made cake and freshly brewed coffee with tea on request. we are always happy to discuss special dietary requirements.
