Our 'Quirky Workshop' Cookery courses take place in our homely 17th Century farmhouse kitchen and are friendly relaxed courses professionally run by carefully hand picked tutors, each offering an abundance of knowledge in their chosen field. Ingredients are always included, as are fresh coffees and teas and a tasty Aga made two course lunch.

Close to Ullswater and the Lake District and conveniently just a few miles from M6, J40, the Cycle Café nestles quietly in the pretty village of Greystoke, just west of Penrith. It sits on the crossroads of the West to East cross country C2C Cycle route and LEJOG - the 'Lands End to John O Groats' West coast YHA cycle route and as a Cycle Café Tea Garden it offers welcome refuge and sustenance to Cyclists arriving on bikes every day between April and the end of September.

Greystoke offers a variety of lovely accommodation (see our links on our website) as well as a village pub serving evening meals, a beautiful church, a heated open air pool in summer months. We also offer a vast programme of other Quirky Workshops throughout the year in Arts, Crafts, Heritage Skills and Bush craft, many run by tutors who lead nationally in their chosen fields.
