Gardens
Askham Hall Gardens are a must visit! The 12 acres are full of stunning features, including colourful terraces and 230ft long double herbaceous borders, formal lawns, kitchen gardens, woodland, meadows and ponds. Take in the impressive views down to the River Lowther and enjoy the secluded spots and peaceful corners of the garden. You can also buy plants to take home. All the produce we grow and rear at Askham Hall is used in our café, pub and restaurant.
Kitchen Garden Café

Animals and children's play area
Askham Hall is home to rare-breed pigs and goats, free range chickens and ducks - many of which you can see from our animal viewing and children's play area.
