Details

We offer a range of boats to suit various needs. If you have a mix of ages and interests we can offer the option for canoes or tandem sit on top kayaks. If you are cautious or have younger children we can start you in catamarran canoes while you get the hang of it then progress onto paddling tandem and finishing up with trying sit on top kayaks. We do not provide wet suits for these sessions in the summer, please bring a full change of clothes, and a towel (showers and changing rooms are available)

Arrive 15 minutes before the start of the session.
NT parking fees are free to NT members, Pay and Display for nonmembers

16 and under £ 36.50 (incl £1.50 booking fee)
17+ £40 (incl £1.50 booking fee)
Min age 8 with adult, 12 unaccompanied.
Families with younger children please call to ask about a session just for you. Other times and days are available on request for larger groups and families.
This is a National Trust site. Fees include use of the Active Base Showers and Changing facilities, car parking is not included. NT members should swipe their card to get free parking, non members will need to use cash to pay for at least hours parking.

Prior bookings for groups. Grounds have loose gravel paths, steep slopes, grass paths and undulating terrain so only partial disabled access.
