Masterchef Course


Taking you from an accomplished home cook to a master in the kitchen this course will add finesse and flare to your dinner party food. Cooking a three course meal at the School will allow you to really get to grips with chef techniques and skills giving you the confidence to challenge yourself and improve your cooking at home. Here’s an idea of what you can expect to cover:

Pan-fried scallops, cauliflower puree, balsamic reduction, pea soup, crispy cumbrian pancetta.
Thai spiced prawn ravioli, fresh dill and lemon burnt butter, pickled fennel and caper salsa.
Ballantine of chicken and cured bacon, roasted mushrooms and squash, risotto.
Deconstructed lemon meringue pie.

From Keswick on the A66, head towards Penrith, after a mile take the right turn for Burns, carry on this road for about half a mile. From Penrith on the A66 heading to Keswick, pass the village of Threlkeld, take the left turn signposted for Burns, stay on this road for a couple of miles until you reach Sunset Hill and the cookery school.
