Scrambling is the terrain in-between Hill Walking and full-blown Rock Climbing. Days are tailored to suit the group or individual. So can vary from just having fun on this type of terrain, fully guided. Through to looking at techniques used for Scrambling, equipping you with confidence so you can go out on this sort of terrain either on your own or as a pair.
Scrambling day(s) are graded 1-3. Grade 1 would be something like Jack Rake in the Lake District or Crib Goch on Snowdon – Wales.

Some more examples include: Striding edge Swirral edge on Helvellyn. Sharp Edge on Blencathra, Middle Fell Buttress in Langdale, Jacks Rake as mentioned in Langdale and Pinnacle Ridge on St. Sundays crag Ullswater. There are hundreds more.
