Opening details
We're not on the Graythwaite site every single day and so we would urge you that booking is essentail and ask you please not to arrive expecting to take part in your chosen activity. Our friendly team are on hand in the office between 9 and 5 Monday to Friday to deal with your enquiries or feel free to call us on our out of hours mobile number if you prefer.

From Ambleside (north) - Leave Ambleside on the B5825 from Hawkshead. Leave Hawkshead following signs for Newby Bridge. Stay on this road for approximately 5 miles. You will pass Esthwaite Water Trout Fishery on your left then Graythwaite Saw Mill on you right followed by the entrance to Graythwaite Estate cottages also on your right. The entrance gate to the car park is approximately ½ mile on your left and is marked with CBA Events signs either side of the gate. Please turn into the field and follow the track to our car park in the quarry.
From Newby Bridge (south) - Follow signs towards Lakeside, YMCA Centre and Hawkshead and continue on the B5825. You will pass the YMCA on your right before pawing the entrance to Silverholme Manor. Continue past the main entrance to the estate on your left until you come to a small post box installed in a wall on your right. The entrance gate to the car park is on your right and is marked with CBA Events signs either side of the gate. Please turn into the field and follow the track to our car park in the quarry.
Transport available by request. We're happy to collect you from your accommodation by minibus, 4X4 or boat!
