All our day workshops include a lovely two course Aga lunch, fresh coffees, teas & fresh baked farmhouse scones to finish off the day. Lunch is served in our farmhouse kitchen around one large table or in the garden when possible. Shorter courses will include refreshments and sometimes a light lunch too. We do hope you can find some days that appeal and look forward to welcoming you here.
Opening details
The Greystoke Craft Garden & Barns hosts over 120 arts, crafts and heritage workshops between March and December each year. On occasions, we may have rooms available to hire for other workshop and course providers, running in parallel to our annual Quirky Workshops programme. For further details re: room hire etc please enquire at annie@quirkyworkshops.co.uk. We started as Greystoke Cycle Cafe Tea Garden, serving passing C2C cyclists since 2005. We have now closed to the general public. Our grateful thanks for your support over the years.

Greystoke Craft Garden (formerly Greystoke Cycle Cafe Tea Garden) is situated just 300yd north of the village green on the edge of the lovely village of Greystoke. The village nestles happily on the fringes of the Lake District National Park, 5 miles west of Penrith and the Eden Valley and 5 miles north of Ullswater. We have only limited parking and ask workshops attendees to enjoy the 300yd flat walking from the free village car park, alongside the racehorses and past the Castle walls. We will send maps etc on booking confirmation. We have 2 parking spaces reserved for those unable to walk this distance, please let us know. Drop off of students or materials is fine.
