Guided Walk, from 13 Apr 2019, free entry

A joint walk with the Lake District National Park.

Discover Hawkshead and the surrounding countryside through Wordsworth’s eyes with a walk from the centre of Hawkshead up to Colthouse and back. This walk is graded easy and is 2.5 miles (4km) which should take approximately 1.5 hours. We run two walks on each date: the first at 10.30am and the second at 1.00pm.

This walk is organised and led by the Lake District National Park in partnership with the Wordsworth Trust. It is free to join and suitable for the whole family – including well-behaved dogs. You will need weather-appropriate clothing and footwear, plenty of water and sunscreen – and don’t forget your camera!

The walk meets in the LDNP Car Park, Hawkshead. For more information, booking and FAQs, please visit the Lake District National Park website.
