Dove Cottage garden

Dove Cottage garden

Reviews

    Details

Dove Cottage garden, ‘the loveliest spot that man hath ever found’, was a tranquil, semi-wild space for William and Dorothy to relax in, read and compose some of their most famous works. Over the last 10 years we have been carefully restoring the main garden to a semi-wild ‘slip of mountain’ and replanting the side garden with vegetables and herbs we know the Wordsworths grew here. Come along to one of these short sessions to explore the garden and learn about its history - as well as the work we’re doing today!
