Allan Bank is in the centre of Grasmere, 4 miles north of Ambleside. Foot: 437 yards from the Inn at Grasmere/Emma's Dell in the centre of the village (slight gradient before house). Bus services from Keswick and Windermere to Bowness. Road: A591 to Ambleside, continuing to Grasmere. Parking: three pay and display car parks in Grasmere village (not National Trust).

Pedestrian and limited disabled parking onsite, please park in Grasmere village and walk to the house.
