Tidelines Literary Festival

17th & 18th August 2019 Grange-over-Sands

On the Saturday 17th August, the day will begin with activities for families, from a Flamingo Fiesta to a Moon Base poetry competition in celebration of 50years since the moon landing. Throughout the day there will be a range of offerings from paper crafts, giant crosswords and in the evening an exciting Short Story Slam led by Garry Cook and headliner Kate Fox, who will humour us with her northern wit with her show ‘Where there's muck there's bras’.
On the Sunday 18th, Linda Hampton a renowned children’s story teller will whisk young ones into a fantasy world of words. Matt Sowerby, a young, award winning poet will take to the stage to perform his debut show ‘Kidz Theez Dayz’ talking passionately about climate change.
The evening will entertain with clean comedian Tony Vino, bringing lots of laughs to close our festival.
