Hire Bikes and create your own adventure in Eskdale and the surrounding valleys.
Explore the National Park by bike taking in the scenery on the bridleways and country roads.

Mountain Bike Guiding: Take the stress out of your day in the saddle and hire a mountain bike guide to accompany you. Your instructor will use their wealth of in-depth local knowledge to assist you in choosing a suitable and memorable route, and if you wish they will spend the day coaching you in aspects of mountain biking.

Opening details

During the season and throughout the school holidays, we offer a programme of taster sessions. Private bookings are taken all year round.

From the A595 at Foxfield turn right just before the traffic lights after you pass Broughton-in-Furness. Follow the road through Ulpha, cross the bridge past the post office then take the next left this is sign posted to Eskdale. Follow this road over Birker Moor until you reach the King George IV pub. Turn right at this junction and carry straight on for approximately three miles.
From the A595 at Gosforth turn left through the village, cross the mini roundabout and then take the turning to the right. Follow this road through Eskdale Green village until you reach the King George IV pub. Turn left at this junction and carry straight on for approximately three miles.
