Details

Exploring the Lake District by kayak is fantastic fun. Whether it is on the lake in spectacular scenery or on a slow moving tidal river such as the Esk or the Irt, the Lake District Provides the perfect environment to try kayaking for the first time. Our fleet of kayaks are a great crossover boat for use on lakes or rivers. Unlike a canoe, kayaks are single seated boats which are super stable, fast and easy to paddle.
Minimum Age: 10 (our open sessions require adult supervision if under the age of 16)

Opening details

During the season and throughout the school holidays, we offer a programme of taster sessions. Private bookings are taken all year round.
