The Lake District is thought of as the birth place of English Rock Climbing, so there is nowhere better to start or advance your rock climbing career. Rock climbing combines skill and stamina with the excitement reaching the top of the rock face. With a wide variety of rock climbs on the door step, the Lake District is the perfect venue for experiencing some of the best rock climbs in the country.

With our help you can join in the adventure and excitement of reaching the top.

A half day rock climbing session will allow you to see if rock climbing is for you. Under the guidance of your instructor you will start to learn to move safely on rock, belay your climbing buddy and develop confidence to take this activity further. We also run indoor climbing sessions to beat the Lake District weather.

Perhaps you've done some rock climbing taster type sessions or climbed a few times indoors. Let us help you with your technique. We will use a variety of climbs to challenge you to improve your technique and level of skill.

For those aspiring to independent rock climbing we have a range of skills development courses for those who wish to set up their own single pitch climbs.

For adults we have multi pitch climbing days and we will also help those who wish to develop lead climbing skills.
