Being in a quieter part of the Lake District, surrounded by beautiful scenery and walks, we are the ideal base for exploring the countryside, either on foot or by car. Two village pubs serving food within 10 minutes walking distance. Come and visit us soon. keys available after 15.00 on day of arrival, depart by 10.00.

From south leave M6 jct 36 and take Kendal Road for about 3 miles. Turn left onto A590 Barrow Road and continue for approximately 16 miles to Greenodd. Turn right onto the Workington Road and after about 3 miles, fork right onto A5084 signed Coniston and Torver. At Torver you come to a T-junction with a pub called The Wilson Arms straight ahead of you. Turn right onto the A593 Coniston Road. Pass the Church House Inn on your right. Then the church and the village hall and take the first left up the lane.
From Ambleside follow signs for Coniston along A593, then towards Broughton-in-Furness for approximately 3 miles. Pass an old-fashioned
black and white Torver sign, drive over a narrow stone bridge and turn immediately right.
