Ghyll Scrambling - The ultimate Lake District activity
If you’re looking for thrills then Ghyll Scrambling is the experience for you. You will be guided through a rocky mountain river, swimming in bubbling pools, scrambling up rocky climbs, jumping into deep clear pools and walking through flowing rapids.
Our Ghyll Scrambling venues:

We use a variety of Ghyll Scrambling venues around Coniston, Langdale, Eskdale and Wasdale. We'll use the best venue to suit your location and group. Minimum age of 6 years.
We also have the ultimate all day adventure – A ghyll not for the faint hearted. It involves loads of massive jumps of up to 10 metres in height!!!
Minimum age of 10 and a reasonable level of fitness required as this is a very physical day.

What we provide:
We provide all specialist safety equipment and instruction from qualified, friendly guides who are local to the area. You’ll be given a full length winter thickness wetsuits and neoprene socks to keep you snug. We have an extensive range of sizes to cater for all shapes and sizes.

Opening details

Advanced booking required.
We can be flexible regarding timings. Typically our half day activities last between 2 – 3hrs and a full day is 5 – 6hrs.

Prices

Prices are from £39 per person for a half day and £70 for a full day (based on a party of 4). Visit our website for full prices.
