Canoeing on Coniston Water

Details

See the Lake District from a whole new perspective and join like-minded people on a guided canoe journey of Coniston Water.

Using our local knowledge, we will show you the best parts of this beautiful lake and areas you can't reach by foot. We will stop along the way to visit its hidden coves and the remote Peel Island - also known as Wild Cat Island from the book and feature film 'Swallows and Amazons'. Here we can light a fire to boil water for a brew or Hot Chocolate and take in the views, making this trip one to remember.

Our canoes are designed to fit two. If you have a number of small children, or you’re not too confident on water - not to worry - we can join two canoes together to make a super stable and easy to paddle canoe raft. Fun for everyone!
You'll be coached by an experienced instructor who will equip you with everything you need to have a safe and amazing adventure.
Age 8 upwards can participate in this open session. If you have younger children or times don't suit please contact us to arrange a private session.
We can capture your adventure for you free of charge on a waterproof digital camera.
