    Explore one of the Lake Districts famous lakes and see the magnificent scenery from a Canadian Canoe, Visiting the lakes hidden coves and islands you can only reach by boat. Park your canoes on the lake shore and let our expert instructors teach you the fundamentals of bushcraft.

    We will cover the exciting and essential skill of how to make a fire using the traditional method of flint and steel. Have a go at cooking something over your fire such as sweetbread or damper bread and boil water to make a cup of natural herbal tea.
    Depending on how long you are with us for, we can teach you how to use and knife and axe safely. Ever fancied whittling your own spoon? We'll show you how under the eye of our experienced instructors (age dependant).

    We can be flexible regarding timings. Typically our half day activities last between 2 – 3hrs and a full day is 5 – 6hrs.

    Prices are from £39 per person for a half day and £70 for a full day (based on a party of 4). Visit our website for full prices.
