Bushcraft

Cooking homemade Pizza's over an open fire

Details

Get back to nature!

Bushcraft is a collection of skills and knowledge to help you survive in the natural environment. Share a new experience, join us in the woods and learn about the four main principals of survival - shelter, warmth, food and drink.

This course will teach you the fundamentals of bushcraft in a fun and informative way. We will cover the exciting and essential skill of how to make a fire using the traditional method of flint and steel. You'll discover the best spots for constructing a shelter from natural materials and how to keep out the elements. Getting peckish? How about cooking something over your fire such as - pizzas, sweetbread or donuts and boil water to make a cup of natural herbal tea.

Depending on how long you are with us for, we can teach you how to use and knife and axe safely. Ever fancied whittling your own spoon? We'll show you how under the eye of our experienced instructors (age dependant).
