Details
Get a glimpse behind the scenes of a working distillery and discover how the Lakes whisky, gin and vodka are produced. You will enjoy spectacular helicopter footage of the journey from the source of the River Derwent to the distillery, housed in a beautifully renovated 1850s cattle parlour. Explore the stillroom with expert tour guides and discover the cask warehouse where the Lakes malt rests, maturing to perfection for release in 2018. Afterwards, you’ll finish off the tour in the tasting room, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample three of the Lakes spirits. You may wish to accompany your tour with lunch in the award-winning Bistro or take a short stroll nearby to the stunning Bassenthwaite Lake.
