Visitors may use the garden. Arrival time is after 14.00 and leaving time is before 10.00. Stays must be no less than 4 days in off-peak season. A traditional Lakeland barn with exposed beams. Tastefully decorated well-equipped and furnished to a high standard. Warm in winter and light and sunny in summer.

From south M6 jct 40 follow A66 to Keswick. Turn left onto Whinlatter pass B5292. Holemire House and Barn are on the right opposite turning to Low Lorton.
From north M6 jct 44 or 43 into Carlisle then take A595 to Cockermouth Main Street, turn right on to Station Street, left on to Lorton Street. Follow B5296 to Holemire House.
