Target Rock proudly presents ARE YOU LOCAL? Featuring Local Bands for Local People on Saturday 30th March at The Brickyard!

The Dissident Youth
Carlisle’s very own metal core outfit The Dissident Youth return to The Brickyard after an epic set opening for Skindred in November, currently working on their follow up release after the critically acclaimed debut self titled album released in 2017, TDY return to tear The Brickyard a new one for their biggest headline show to date! Perfect for fans of Killswitch Engage, Trivium and Mastodon.

From Here On Out

Carlisle’s favorite pop punk/easycore band From Here on Out will also be hitting the stage with their catchy, fun and bouncy pop punk anthems for their biggest show in Carlisle to date, they’ve had a killer debut year in 2018, playing multiple local gigs to their ever growing following, and proving why they are the ones to watch on the local scene! Perfect for fans of A Day to Remember, Neck Deep and WSTR!

State Control

Carlisle punk’s State Control celebrate an incredible 9 years of State Control on Saturday 30th March! Having supported the likes of Discharge, and played with many of the best Punk bands from all over the UK, State Control bring the noise and the party! Perfect for fans of Discharge, UK Subs and The Exploited!

Too Close For Missiles

Ok, so Too Close for Missiles are the exception to the rule here, they technically aren’t “local”, but are local in our hearts and one of the fastest rising pop punk bands in the North East and all around great dudes, we couldn’t put this gig on without them being apart of this lineup! Truly one of the most exciting up and coming bands in the North of England, everything about them is catchy, they really are your favorite band you’ve probably never heard of, be there Saturday 30th March to find out why! Perfect for fans of State Champs and all things Pop Punk!

The Meltdownz

Horror punk band The Meltdownz are making a huge name for themselves locally and are starting to venture further afield recruiting the poor souls for the radioactive dead! You may have caught them supporting the UK Subs at The Brickyard in November, and if you didn’t, well you missed out and now is your chance to finally catch them! Perfect for fans of The Misfits and The Murderdolls!’

One of the most talked about bands coming through in Carlisle are experimental progressive groove metallers Bösen, the excitement is building and on Saturday 30th March they make their long and highly anticipated debut at The Brickyard! Not many people are aware but Matt Adamson played the first Target Rock gig almost 3 years ago with his previous band, without that mans help, there was a huge chance that gig would never have even happened and we wouldn’t be here today, so for our final gig, we couldn’t not have this awesome guy be apart of it! Perfect for fans of ….. Well we’ll soon find out!

And finally topping the bill off is one of the newest bands on the local scene, Haushinka! Having played gigs locally in 2018 and starting to tour outside of the great Border city, their punky pop rock is catchy, and easy to move to, if you listen closely you can even sing along! Make sure to get down early and check this exciting outfit out for yourself! Perfect for fans of Jimmy Eat World and Green Day.

See you all for the final Target Rock gig (for now) at The Brickyard for a mega night of Metal, Progressive, Punk, Easycore, Pop Punk and more!
