Details

Barrow BID are proud to bring you Monsters Inc, as part of our kids comedy film screenings at The Forum on Saturday 5th October at 1pm. This event is part of Barrow Comedy Fest.

There's a reason why there are monsters in children's closets—it's their job. Monsters, Inc. is the most successful scream-processing factory in the monster world, and there is no better Scarer than James P. Sullivan. But when "Sulley" accidentally lets a little human girl into Monstropolis, life turns upside down for him and his buddy Mike.

Tickets are £2 each with all proceeds going to YouthAbility and The Well Communities. Tickets for this event are ONLY available from TicketSource.

**********************************************

YouthAbility is a well established service that provides a variety of programmes, groups and projects for young people with and without disabilities. Over the past 13 years they have established a good connection with the local community, partners and families in the Furness area.

The main aim is to work alongside young people and their families to enable the social and emotional development of young people to enable them an easier transition to adulthood. This is done through using youth work values and building up positive relationships with the young people.

The Well provide support to people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction through therapy, counselling, peer mentoring, employment training and social activities.

The Well is a vibrant community of people. Together, we support each other and we believe wholeheartedly that recovery is possible for anyone. By valuing and investing in the people who use our services, we're able to show a different side to addiction. A side which sees members start their lives afresh with new friends, stronger family links and better prospects.

Bring your change along as there will be donation buckets for YouthAbility and The Well Communities!
